Sacrament of Baptism

For infants we generally celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism on the second Sunday of the month at the 10:45 Mass. Parents/legal guardians are required to contact the office early to arrange sacramental instruction and schedule a date. Adult Baptisms are a part of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)


Sacraments of 1st Communion & 1st Reconcilliation

For children these Sacraments are conducted as part of the Religious Education process. For adults they are a part of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).


Sacrament of Confirmation

For our youth the Sacrament of Confirmation is conducted as part of the Religious Education process. For adults Confirmation is a part of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).


Sacrament of Marriage

Prospective Brides & Grooms: If you are thinking about marriage in the next 9-12 months, it is time to make an appointment with the Priest. If you have already met with the Priest & need to register for Engaged Encounter or a Diocesan Pre-Cana, go to www.dioceseofscranton.org click on How Do I?, then Registration for Pre-Cana, Please choose a session scheduled 6 or more months before your wedding date & Register early as sessions fill fast.


Holy Orders

Any Catholic male who feels that God may be calling him to serve his people as a Deacon or Priest, should talk to the Pastor. For addition information on many forms of consecrated life for men and woment Click Here.


Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is for the comfort and strength of the ill, especially the aged. It is not just for those in the immediate danger of death. When someone you love is homebound or hospitalized, please contact the Parish Office so arrangements can be made to minister to them.



The process is open to adults who have never been baptized, those baptized in another Christian church, and those baptized as infants in the Catholic Church but who have not received the sacrament of Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
